Jewish / Hindu / Humanist civil partnership ceremony

Jewish. Hindu. Humanist. David and Hasz’s civil partnership ceremony was all three. It touchingly acknowledged the cultural bond uniting each groom with his family. It also conveyed the deep respect with which David and Hasz regard each other’s religious backgrounds.

Under their enthusiastic tutelage I learned about the rituals that typically take place during Jewish and Hindu weddings, and we worked together to find ways of including these rites in their own partnership ceremony. David and Hasz created something that was both conceptually exciting and visually beautiful, and it was a pleasure to be part of it.
