‘The meausre of a man is seen in the love that he has for his family’ – these lines of verse perfectly captured the mood and sentiment of this couple’s civil partnership. Held in the Old Ship hotel right on Brighton’s sea front, the wedding was beautifully understated but utterly joyous. Congratulations to Richard and Jason!

Humanist wedding in France

In Uncategorized on October 16, 2010 at 10:59 am

I was very privileged to conduct this wedding between two young, hip snowboarding instructors in Rodez, France (near Tolouse). The couple hired Chateau de Labro for a long weekend and I was with them from Friday to Sunday. It was a gorgeous wedding that allowed the bride and groom to spend as much time as possible with their guests. The sun was glorious and the ceremony was held against the breathtaking backdrop of the valley below. If at all feasible (and for most of us it’s not!) this is the way to do it. Congratulations Sam and Adele!
