Ginny Collins Humanist Ceremonies

About me

Never one to accept the party line, my search for an alternative to the church or registry office wedding some 10 years ago, led me to the organisation I now proudly represent. I can’t help it – if there are two ways of doing something, I will always look for a third.

As a celebrant trained and accredited by the British Humanist Association, I work to make sure your ceremony – be it a wedding, funeral or baby naming – is a reflection of you.

Why shouldn’t we mark these rites of passage in a way that celebrates our individuality and deepest held convictions? If you don’t hold religious belief or don’t want your ceremony to refer to god, have a ceremony that refers to the things you do believe in. And have it wherever you want!

I am an English Literature graduate (UCL) and also hold an MSc degree. Following a career in writing and publishing I now work as a British Humanist Association celebrant. I conduct non-religious funerals, weddings, partnership ceremonies and baby namings in London, Surrey, parts of Sussex, Kent and Hertfordshire, and overseas.

  1. Jen and I are just back from honeymoon and wanted to express our thanks to you for really making our wedding day. It was memorable for all the right reasons, and your help and guidance made for a wonderful, magical ceremony which we and our guests loved.

    Thanks so much.

  2. Everyone was in awe of the wedding ceremony that you conducted with such aplomb, remarking on how beautifully personal and unique it was. For us the decision to have a humanist ceremony was fully rewarded by your services, both in the organising and the presentation. We can’t recommend you highly enough, and thank you for making our day so special!

    Hugh & Fleur
